Before she became Princess Diana, she lived at Flat 60, Coleherne Court on Old Brompton Road in London. From 1979 to 1981, this was her home. Not a palace. Not some grand royal residence. Just a flat she shared with friends while working and living a pretty normal young life.
That changed fast.
As her relationship with Prince Charles became public, photographers began waiting outside the building. This quiet London address became one of the first places where the world started watching Diana. Today, there is an English Heritage blue plaque on the building marking where Lady Diana Spencer lived before everything changed.
