Edmond, OK – In the early hours of Tuesday, July 29, local law enforcement responded to reports of a stabbing at the SureStay Plus Hotel. Officers arrived on the scene at approximately 3:30 a.m., where they found 33-year-old Nathan Roy Richard suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Emergency responders transported Richard to a nearby hospital for treatment. Tragically, he was later pronounced dead.
Following an immediate investigation, 23-year-old Ariana Leigh Jones was identified as the primary suspect. Authorities say Jones admitted to stabbing Richard during an interview with detectives. She was taken into custody and is expected to face formal charges.
